1965 Mini Cooper Sport 500
Arguably the most popular British-made car ever. The original Mini-Cooper was a 60's icon designed by Sir Alec Issgonis. It was first manfactured in Longbridge and Cowley, then abroad in Spain, Australia, Belgium.Greece, Italy, South Africa and more. The space saving front wheel drive allowed a remarkable 80% of the floopan for passengers and cargo. A powerful 'S' version won the Monte Carlo Rally in 1964,1965, 1967. This 'S' was restored to full rally specifications in 1992. It is fitted with straight-cut gearbox, roll cage, twin fuel tanks,navigation equipment,Momo Corso Racing seats and Williams racing harness.
